Hybrid on The Hill Day June 11 in Washington, DC.
Hybrid on The Hill Day included an impressive technology showcase of 17 medium- and heavy-duty hybrids, plus a morning briefing on the status of hybrid technology. The showcase highlighted the real progress made by hybrid technology in trucks. Members of Congress spoke at the morning briefing, which also outlined the state of the hybrid truck industry, its benefits in reducing emissions, cutting fuel use and creating high tech jobs, and what it needs to succeed. Duke University also unveiled its report, Hybrid Drivetrains for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Trucks 
which outlines the strategic economic potential for clean trucks in the United States.
The event took place on the Mall at the base of Capitol Hill from 10 am - 4 pm; the briefing was from 11 am - Noon. Click here for more information.
