Multi-Mobility Forum held on October 8, 2009
CALSTART co-chaired Multi-Mobility Forum with LACMTA at Metro headquarters with over 90 attendees including representatives from transit agencies, municipalities, information technology companies, mobility thought leaders and TDM service providers
- Forum provided specific assistance to cities that were successful in receiving a Metro grant award in the TDM category and addressed issues that cities may encounter with implementation and management of their projects
Multi-Mobility Working Groups held on December 14, 2009
Three smaller Working Groups were convened to spur concrete action in those applications that were identified during the Forum as having the best chance of gaining a foothold in the SoCal transportation market and effectively competing with the Single Occupancy Vehicle: (1) Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), (2) Incentives/Disincentives, and (3) Non-motorized Transportation Options.
