HTUF National Meeting Next Week - Still Time to Attend!
With a week left before the HTUF National Meeting, final plans are underway for an exciting and productive session. We now have 14 medium- and heavy-duty hybrid trucks available to drive, including some never-before-seen vehicles such as the re-powered Enova Class 7 hybrid tractor, the International Class 6 beverage hybrid truck and the Eaton/Peterbilt Class 8 hydraulic hybrid refuse truck.

The agenda has also been finalized (click the link to see the final version) with first rate information and technical briefings, and some significant discussions of how hybrids are now moving from R&D to truck production lines. These are the top hybrid experts from industry, military and research institutions nationwide. Coupled with that, we have the participation and attendance of many of the nation's premier fleet operators. Come join us as we work together to speed the commercialization of hybrid trucks.

More than 200 Attendees to Date

The latest count of registered attendees is over 200. This includes some of the top truck OEMs and industry suppliers, and a collection of important and influential national commercial and military fleets including UPS, FedEx, Wal-Mart, Pepsi-Frito-Lay, Florida Power and Light, Penske, Waste Management and many others.

Business Casual is the Dress Code

Please do not wear a tie and you don't need a sport coat!. HTUF meetings are definitely business casual. We want you to be comfortable and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get down to the business of moving hybrids to the market. Besides, we want you comfortable for the lively and fun time planned at the AirZoo, one of the nation's top interactive flight museums.

Expect New Hybrid Announcements

What are some of the newest efforts in medium and heavy-duty hybrid trucks? Expect several important announcements and "unveilings" to come out of next week's meeting, in terms of new vehicles and new deployment efforts. You may be surprised.
