Manuel Achadinha has over 14 years of senior and executive management experience in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining
BC Transit, he held the position of Vice President of Terminal Operation with BC Ferries, overseeing the operation of 47 terminals along the coast of British Columbia. Mr. Achadinha specializes in strategic planning, business restructuring, project and financial management and business development. He assumed the position of President and CEO BC Transit in March 10 2008, and is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient transit service in over 80 communities across British Columbia.
