This CALSTART Webinar series presentation, recorded May 11, 2011, features Mr. Reinhard Reichel, an Investment Officer in the Transaction Group of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Ms Lynn Tabernacki, Managing Director of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development Finance at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). The IFC is a member of the World Bank Group. It finances and provides advice for private sector ventures and projects in developing countries in partnership with the private sector. OPIC is the U.S. Government’s development finance institution. Because OPIC works with the U.S. private sector, it helps U.S. businesses gain footholds in emerging markets catalyzing revenues, jobs and growth opportunities both at home and abroad.
