Maryland is a state that has a long history of energy leadership, starting in 1816 with a public demonstration of gas lights. Almost two centuries later, Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE)
and Constellation Energy are leading in finding the right balance between sustainability, reliability and affordability with an emphasis on innovation. Most recently, private fleet Air Liquide will add 133 trucks to their delivery fleet, equipped with Meritor Wabco’s OnGuard collision safety system, which uses forward-looking radar technology to monitor following distances and apply the brakes when needed. The companies’ roll stability system and anti-lock braking system are also included, helping to prevent rollovers.
