The US Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) has issued a Request for Information (RFI, DE-FOA-0000673) resulting in tools to evaluate novel approaches to providing diagnostic, prognostic, and control capabilities to significantly increase the performance and accelerate adoption of energy storage systems.
