Workplace Charging Workshop (see the agenda).

The event kicked off a state-wide initiative to educate employers about workplace charging. The Initiative will contribute to the development of best practices by enabling employer‐to-employer communication and collaboration through a series of interactive monthly web meetings on the last Tuesday of each month, beginning on September 25, 2012. Employers are strongly encouraged to get involved now.

Making the Connection: The US DOE EV Everywhere Program and Workplace Charging
Workplace charging has importance beyond helping employees drive green
and growing the market for plug-in electric vehicles. It also has
become an important part of a national program to accelerate the use of
clean vehicles everywhere.

important. And what about the grid impacts – are there impacts and what
are they?

Most employers actually lease their offices from a landlord which makes a
difference in how they can approach workplace charging. How the
experiences are different for employers who are tenants in commercial
buildings vs those who are owners in important to understand to help
grow charging at workplaces. How can tenant employers work with
landlords to install workplace charging is key.
